Spectrum Literacy

• Designed an interactive learning device targeted for grades K - 3. The device used an ARM926 processor with a 5" 240x320 color display, touch screen, Bluetooth server connectivity and a unique input mechanism designed to take advantage of learning techniques.
• Developed a limited set of features and put together a 30-minute demo on an SDK for use by the sponsor to raise funding.

 

Fitness

• Developed a board support package, USB communications protocol, and firmware update module for an MSP430F5449 ultra lower power microprocessor.
• Board needed to consume 100uA in operational mode will monitoring and accelerometer 25 times per second and writing to FLASH every 10 seconds.
• Developed an acceptance test plan for delivery proven, tested hardware to the client.
• Delivered complete, working system to customer on time and on budget.

 

Computer Lockout for Kids

• Designed Visual Studio application to lock out the keyboard and mouse.
• Show screensaver of pictures on the PC.
• Kids can't wreak havoc on your work PC.
• Gets started with a single keystroke (F2).
• Unlock by typing Control-Alt-End.
